Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, medication administration, and care provided.
- Coordinate pharmacy and laboratory orders, ensuring timely refills and delivery.
- Monitor and secure controlled medications per policy.
- Provide education to residents and families regarding medications and treatment plans.
- Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain infection control standards within the facility.
- Foster a therapeutic environment and provide individualized counseling as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active RN license in Michigan.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- 1 years of RN experience (psychiatric nursing experience strongly desired).
