Schedule: Mon - Fri, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a Family Medicine or Primary Care Physician for an established outpatient practice in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. This is a full-time Monday-Friday role with a predictable daytime schedule, seeing approximately 10-15 patients per day and providing comprehensive primary and preventive care to patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and preventive care.
• Conduct annual physicals, wellness exams, and routine health assessments.
• Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic conditions.
• Manage conditions such as respiratory and urinary infections, skin conditions, and other common outpatient illnesses.
• Perform minor office procedures, including wound care and suturing, as appropriate.
• Order and review labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
• Review specialist reports and coordinate follow-up care.
• Provide referrals and continuity of care when appropriate.
• Perform DOT and occupational physicals as needed.
• Provide patient education and preventive health counseling.
  
  

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related primary care specialty.
• Active or eligible for an Idaho medical license.
• DOT certification is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is acceptable.
