Roles And Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive medical eye examinations with a strong focus on patient education
- Diagnose and manage dry eye disease using advanced diagnostics and in-office treatments
- Evaluate and manage myopia progression and binocular vision conditions
- Fit and manage specialty contact lenses, including scleral, ortho-K, and custom lenses
- Collaborate with technicians, opticians, and other providers to deliver high-quality care
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation and coordinate referrals as needed
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
- Active state optometry license
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Comfort with medical and speciality eye care
- Speciality experience preferred but not required (mentorship available)
