Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-3:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM-1:30 PM

Salary: $95,000-$105,000/year

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist in Brooklyn, NY. This role focuses on providing individualized occupational therapy services to children and young adults ages 3-21 with developmental disabilities. The OT will help students improve functional skills, independence, and overall quality of life through personalized therapy plans and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized occupational therapy evaluations and treatment sessions.
• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with students' needs and goals.
• Support students in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, daily living skills, and functional independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to support student development and IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and therapy records.
• Recommend strategies and activities that can be carried over into classroom and home environments.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active New York State Occupational Therapy License required.
• Experience working with children with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
