Pay- $130,000 per year DOE
Our facility is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our dedicated pediatric care team.
Important: Any Family Nurse Practitioner applying must be fully comfortable providing care to newborns up through our full pediatric age range.
About The Role
As a key member of our clinical team, you will deliver comprehensive care to pediatric patients-ranging from newborns to adolescents-while ensuring the highest standards in medical excellence, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage both acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
Perform physical exams, routine screenings, and well-child visits.
Deliver evidence-based care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.
Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical and regulatory guidelines.
Provide clear health education and counseling to patients and families.
Quality, Compliance & Professional Standards
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and medical coding.
Ensure full adherence to HIPAA and all regulatory requirements.
Participate in practice-wide quality improvement initiatives and promote consistent best-practice standards.
Qualifications
Active PNP or FNP license in South Carolina
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, ideally including care of children
Strong Capability In
Healthcare diagnosis & patient treatment
Acute care management
Preventive health
Evidence-based interventions & treatment planning
Prescribing medications safely within scope
Quality improvement processes
Clinical documentation & coding accuracy
Knowledge Of
HIPAA standards & mid-level provider responsibilities
Family medicine principles
Health education and counseling
Ability to collaborate effectively as an advanced practice provider within a clinical team
FNP candidates must be confident seeing newborns and managing patients from birth through adolescence
