The role involves developing design solutions for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for highly coordinated federal and commercial facilities. This is an urgent, immediate-hire need.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop design solutions for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage/communications systems.
- Prepare engineering deliverables including equipment selection, calculations, construction documents, specifications, and design analysis.
- Support multi-disciplinary, integrated architecture and engineering teams on multiple concurrent projects.
- Assist with sustainability initiatives for LEED or Green Globe certifications.
- Conduct building systems surveys and prepare condition assessments.
- Provide technical leadership and verify quality, schedule adherence, and project completion.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of electrical systems design experience.
- PE license preferred (or pursuit required).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit (Autodesk Building Design Suite).
- Preferred certifications: CEM, RCDD, LEED GA, or LEED AP BD C.
- Broad knowledge of electrical codes, industry standards, and DoD UFC criteria.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- US Citizenship and valid driver's license required (government clearance).
- Experience across all project phases: design, CDs, follow-on support.
