We are seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to support the health, safety, and performance of student-athletes in a school-based setting. The role focuses on injury prevention, evaluation, emergency care, rehabilitation, and safe return to activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and provide immediate care for athletic and musculoskeletal injuries.
- Develop treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning plans.
- Provide first aid, CPR, and emergency care during practices and athletic events.
- Implement injury prevention and athlete wellness programs.
- Assess readiness to participate and support safe return-to-activity decisions.
- Coordinate care with physicians, physical therapists, coaches, parents, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate athletes on injury prevention, training, recovery, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and confidential healthcare documentation.
- Provide coverage for practices and required athletic events.
- Certified Athletic Trainer with appropriate professional credentials.
- Knowledge of sports medicine, injury management, rehabilitation, and reconditioning.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal injuries.
- First aid/CPR certification and emergency care skills.
- Ability to work effectively with athletes, coaches, parents, and healthcare professionals.
