Cardiologist - Clinical Trial Physician - Northridge, CA

Location: Northridge ,CA

Shift : Part-Time (0-8 hours/week)

Job Summary & Responsibilities

We are seeking a board-certified Cardiologist to join our clinical research team in Northridge, CA, as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I). The physician will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety, maintaining protocol compliance, and supporting high-quality clinical trial execution. This opportunity is ideal for physicians interested in expanding their experience in clinical research.

• Serve as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator on cardiology-focused clinical trials.
• Perform medical evaluations and physical exams to assess participant eligibility.
• Monitor patient safety and evaluate adverse events throughout the study duration.
• Review and sign off on study documentation in accordance with protocol and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with study coordinators, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure accurate and efficient trial conduct.
• Attend protocol and GCP (Good Clinical Practice) training sessions and stay current with regulatory guidelines.
  
  

Education, Licensure, and Experience:

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted California medical license.
• Board-certified in Cardiology.
• Previous clinical research experience is preferred; however, training will be provided for interested candidates.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Strong commitment to upholding ethical standards and clinical research best practices.
