Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Weekend responsibilities limited to ICU patient checks
- No regular on-call or holiday shifts
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnose illnesses and injuries.
- Develop and implement medical and surgical treatment plans.
- Perform routine and soft tissue surgeries.
- Provide dental procedures and preventive care services.
- Collect and interpret diagnostic samples, including blood, urine, fecal, and tissue specimens.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging, including radiographs and ultrasound.
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures.
- Educate pet owners on treatment plans, preventive care, nutrition, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic practice management software.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited veterinary school.
- Active Illinois Veterinary License (or ability to obtain).
- Active DEA License.
- Privilege License.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Interest or experience in small animal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care is preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and client service skills.
