Associate Attorney

Summary

Our client is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Connecticut office and work primarily on professional liability and securities matters. The firm is open to candidates across experience levels, with mid-level attorneys preferred, while also considering newly admitted attorneys and senior candidates.

Responsibilities

• Handle professional liability and securities litigation matters.

• Conduct legal research and factual analysis.

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.

• Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.

• Review and respond to discovery.

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other stakeholders.

• Assist senior attorneys with case strategy and litigation management.

• Manage deadlines and multiple matters effectively.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• Active Connecticut bar admission required.

• Professional liability and/or securities experience preferred.

• Mid-level experience is ideal, but newly admitted and senior attorneys will also be considered.

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and case-management abilities.
