Associate Attorney - Family Law

Summary

An established family law firm is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join its team.

The attorney will handle various aspects of family law, including pleadings, motions, discovery, hearings, mediation, depositions, and trials.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex and high-asset family law cases
• Maintain communication with clients and other parties involved in cases
• Prepare for and conduct depositions
• Assess cases and develop litigation and settlement strategies
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents and court filings
• Stay current on case law, statutes, court rules, and local regulations
• Represent clients in family law court
• Review and analyze client and opposing-party income and expenses for settlement or trial
• Work collaboratively with assigned paralegals
• Maintain accurate time and case records
  
  

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing - required
• Family law experience preferred
• Trial experience in another practice area may be considered
• Excellent legal writing and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High level of professionalism and ethics
