Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements – Prototek maintains International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant operations in United States based facilities. This position is subject to ITAR which requires U.S. Person status. ITAR defines U.S. Person as U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, or foreign nationals granted refugee or asylee status.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform manual deburring operations
- Remove tabs, slag, rust, and sharp edges from sheet metal
- Prepare raw materials for final surface treatment
- Operate shop tools such as orbital sanders, Timesavers, Fladder, belt sanders, and hand tools (training provided)
- Handle finished parts carefully to prevent damage
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Experience in deburring precision parts within tight-tolerance aerospace or similar manufacturing environments
- Ability to learn to read blueprints
- Ability to learn how to use shop tools
- High school diploma or GED
