SAW OPERATOR
LOCATION: Oak Ridge, TN
SCHEDULE: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

FUNCTION:
Saw Operators at Protomet ensure the wheel keeps moving, keeping the flow of goods around the plant while also cutting the raw stock down to the machinable bars we need. A self-starter is ideal for this role.
OUTCOMES:
- Deliver material to multiple machines and finished goods to our shipping department
- Track flow of goods around the shop
- Run a METLSAW with hands on training to cut raw aluminum to size
- Programming material jobs if needed
- Loading/unloading flatbed and box trucks
