What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Kitchen Service Technician position at ProToCall?
Let’s be honest.
If you’ve worked commercial kitchens, you know this isn’t for the faint of heart.
When a fryer goes down during lunch rush…
When a walk-in won’t hold temp…
When a chef is staring at you like you personally broke the compressor…
That’s when the real techs shine.
ProToCall is expanding across TX, FL, AL, AK, CA, and OK, and we’re looking for experienced commercial kitchen technicians who can confidently handle both hot and cold side equipment.
We’re building a professional, accountable service team — not a patch-and-pray operation.
What You’ll Be Working On Hot Side Equipment
- Fryers
- Griddles & Charbroilers
- Convection, Deck & Combi Ovens
- Steamers

You’ll troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment with speed and precision — minimizing downtime and keeping kitchens running.

- EPA Certification (required)
- Minimum 4 years of commercial equipment experience
- Strong gas AND electrical diagnostic skills
- Experience with both hot and cold side preferred
