Join us as a Summer 2026 Controls Engineering Internship or Co-op in Nashville, TN as we work together to bring innovative automation solutions to life .
Location Type: This is an onsite role located at our headquarters in Nashville, TN.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Learn and grow through hands-on tasks and mentorship from experienced engineers
Troubleshoot wiring, pneumatic, and hydraulic circuits
Wire systems in accordance with NEC standards
Install piping and hoses to meet JR Automation and customer specifications
Develop basic programming skills and apply them in live project environments
Make meaningful contributions as you gain experience and confidence

What You’ll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent
Current enrollment in an accredited engineering program pursuing an engineering degree

Skills That Will Help You Succeed:
Basic proficiency in CAD software
Familiarity with electrical and pneumatic schematic drawing packages
Introductory knowledge of programming languages
