Protein Solutions is dedicated to creating value for our pet food partners by delivering quality ingredients and supply chain solutions. Our plant operates 24/7, offering Shipping and Receiving positions on various shifts.
Location: Joplin, Missouri
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: $17.50-$19.00 plus $.50 shift differential
Shift:
1 Opening: B Shift - Monday-Wednesday (every other SUN) 6PM-6:30AM
1 Opening: C Shift - Thursday-Saturday (every other SUN) 6AM-6:30PM
Scheduled shifts may include nights and weekends; additional overtime may be required.

Primary Function:
- Manage finished goods and raw material inventories through inventory control software.
- Data entry in Excel and other software.
- Scaling trucks.
- Safely operate a forklift and yard truck.
- Receive raw materials and unload to cooler.
- Load and bill shipments according to customer specifications.
- Accurate completion of all department paperwork.
- Perform detailed inspections for forklifts and yard truck.
- Provide backup support to all departments as needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
- Ability to work as a member of a cross-functional team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Must have the ongoing right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Demonstrate knowledge of efficient and safe manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Must have organizational skills and be detail oriented.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Basic understanding of inventory control software.
- Must have a high school diploma.
- Must be able to complete pre-employment drug screen including THC and background check.
- Minimum of 2 years of shipping and receiving experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of forklift and/or yard dog experience.
