Location: Livermore, CA | Full-Time | Non-Exempt
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Analyst to support laboratory testing and quality activities for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products in a GMP environment. This role is critical to ensuring product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
- Prepare, document, and track samples, test results, and retain samples
- Review specifications and test data to support release decisions
- Coordinate third-party laboratory testing and chain-of-custody documentation
- Conduct physical, sensory, and environmental monitoring tests
- Identify and communicate out-of-specification results and quality issues
- Maintain accurate GMP-compliant laboratory records
- Support audits, investigations, and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field preferred
- 2–4 years of quality control or laboratory experience; food or dietary supplement industry preferred
- Knowledge of GMP, food safety, and quality systems (HACCP, SQF, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to work on-site and support overtime as needed in compliance with California law
