Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and systems-driven Payroll / HRIS Coordinator to support payroll processing and HR systems administration for Paycom. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, timely payroll while maintaining the integrity of employee data within our HRIS platform (Paycom).

Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
- Support bi-weekly and/or weekly payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees for up to 1000 employees
- Audit timecards, earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings for accuracy
- Assist with payroll adjustments, corrections, and off-cycle payments
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
HRIS (Paycom) Administration
- Maintain employee data within Paycom, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Process employee lifecycle transactions (new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations)
- Support system configuration updates, workflows, and audits
- Run and distribute standard and ad hoc HR/payroll reports
- Partner with HR and IT to troubleshoot system issues
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain payroll records in accordance with company policy and legal requirements
- Assist with audits (internal, external, and compliance-related)
- Support year-end processes including W-2 preparation and reconciliation
- Ensure confidentiality and security of employee information
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll accuracy and HRIS efficiency
- Support implementation of system enhancements and process standardization
- Assist with training managers and employees on Paycom tools (timekeeping, PTO, self-service)
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in payroll, HRIS, or HR operations
- Experience with Paycom or similar HRIS/payroll systems required
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong Excel and data management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, food production, or multi-site environments
- Familiarity with timekeeping systems and shift-based payroll
- Basic knowledge of benefits deductions and garnishments
