Job Summary:
The Inbound Associate I is responsible for efficiently and safely operating RF Scan Guns to store goods in our distribution center. This role is crucial in maintaining an organized warehouse and ensuring that inventory is stored in the correct locations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Accurately store items in designated areas within the warehouse, ensuring that they are placed in the correct location for easy retrieval.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, including logging items into the warehouse management system (WMS) and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies upon put away and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the proper storage of equipment and tools.
- Skillfully operate and maintain reach trucks and other warehouse equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Support housekeeping and safety as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have experience operating RF scan guns and electric pallet jacks
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 yrs. previous warehouse experience preferred
- Good communication, organizational, time management skills
- Dependable and reliable
