We are a dynamic and growing California-based plaintiff-side law firm dedicated to providing strategic counsel and litigation services in personal injury and employment law.
We are seeking one (1) Attorney with strong personal injury litigation experience to join our growing trial practice. This position is ideal for an attorney who has handled PI cases—particularly depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation—and who is interested in expanding their skill set by learning how to try employment cases as well.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to become a trial-focused litigator, work closely with partners on case strategy, and gain exposure to a broader range of plaintiff-side trial work.
Salary Range: $110,000 – $150,000
Key Responsibilities
- Handle PI matters from litigation through trial preparation, including discovery, depositions, law and motion, mediation, and trial support.
- Draft complaints, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal correspondence.
- Prepare for, take, and defend depositions.
- Independently handle court appearances and contribute to case and trial strategy.
- Work closely with the trial team on evidence development, expert preparation, witness preparation, and trial execution.
- Gain experience and mentorship in trying employment cases, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination matters.
- Collaborate with partners, paralegals, experts, and clients to move cases forward efficiently.
- Provide oversight and mentorship to 1–2 junior attorneys or paralegals as needed.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- Minimum 1–3 years of personal injury litigation experience, including depositions and significant litigation tasks.
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and research skills.
- Interest in joining a trial-focused practice and developing the skills necessary to try both PI and employment cases.
- Ability to manage deadlines, work independently, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
