We are seeking a proactive and vigilant Temporary Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. Responsibilities

• Control access to the facility using access control systems, verifying identities of employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards.
• Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity around the property.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, following established emergency response procedures.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities.
• Perform background checks on visitors or vendors as needed to ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Assist with conflict de-escalation and manage difficult situations with professionalism and tact.
• Use physical security measures including heavy lifting when necessary for patrols or equipment handling.
• Operate emergency response tools such as AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), Taser devices, and fire extinguishers when required.
• Maintain compliance with all security regulations and company policies at all times.

Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems, access control systems, and incident report writing is essential.
• Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation, and fire safety is preferred.
• Familiarity with manual handling techniques and heavy lifting procedures ensures safe operations during patrols or equipment management.
• Demonstrated ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security screenings.
• Strong understanding of conflict management strategies and conflict de-escalation techniques.
• Experience in emergency response procedures including fire safety protocols and medical emergencies enhances readiness for critical situations.
