What are the responsibilities and job description for the Party Chief Surveyor (Heavy Civil Construction Project) position at Protecnium?
Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services (www.protecnium.com/en). We are currently looking for a Party Chief Surveyor to join our team for a Construction Project in Norfolk, Virginia.

- Project: tunnel/ highway/bridge/structure
- Estimated duration of the position: 1 year - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.
- Responsibilities:
- Stakeout points on site.
- Monitoring.
- Data Collection.
- Leveling.
- Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Field Surveyor in high precision setting out/checking works, including tasks related to the installation of interior structures in the tunnel, marine works or similar.
- Specific Software User.
- Total Station, Level and GPS expertise user.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am-6 pm (10 hours) (1 hour lunch). There is the possibility of working some Saturdays.
