Design Technical Coordinator Engineer (Urban Transportation Infrastructure Project)

Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services (www.protecnium.com/en). We are currently looking for a Design Technical Coordinator Engineer to join our team on a Major Tunnelling and Heavy Civil Infrastructure Project in East Harlem, New York City, USA.

• Estimated duration of the position: 2 years-Generally, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.
• Responsibilities:
• Coordinate between design consultants, JV partners, and construction teams.
• Review drawings for compliance with local standards and constructability.
• Manage design changes, utilities relocations, and temporary works.
• Ensure timely resolution of design issues and approvals.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering/ Structural Engineering or similar.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Design Technical Coordinator in railway/ tunnel/ road/highway/ heavy civil construction projects.
• Knowledge of NYC codes and regulations preferred
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours weekly).
