Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented standing seam operator to join our manufacturing team. This role takes place majority on job sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery and tools to produce high-quality components, ensuring precision and safety throughout the manufacturing process on job sites. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to a dynamic production environment, requiring strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality standards. The job will require traveling and some rare overnights. CDL is recommended.
Duties
- Set up and program machinery
- Read and interpret drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Perform quality inspections and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
- Handle sheet metal, tooling, hand tools for fabrication tasks.
- Operate cranes and forklifts safely for material handling and movement within the workspace.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Experience
- Prior experience operating machinery is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes is desirable.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems tooling setup and quality inspection techniques.
- Previous work in manufacturing environments involving machining or fabrication processes will be advantageous.
- CDL is recommended
