Job Responsibilities
New Hires:
- Orientations
- Preparing paperwork
- Backgrounds, drug testing, offer letters, etc.
ADP:
- Set up new hires
- Help employees with password resets
- Help employees with vacation requests
- Help employees with benefit inquires (QEs)
- Make changes (ex: employment changes, title changes, mgr changes, add titles)
- Run reports (weekly attendance report, weekly headcount report, monthly bday and anniversary report, misc. reports for projects)
- Changes to employee's status, setting up codes, etc.
BENEFITS:
- Helping employees with benefit questions
- Reviewing the weekly EOI reports for updates
- Review and audit monthly bills from carriers for accuracy (UHC, Guardian)
- Updating changes in ADP
- Open enrollment assistance for employees, including setting up benefits, reviewing changes, running reports, walking employees through changes, misc. benefits projects required (NOV, DEC, JAN)
HR MISC:
- Filing
- Making announcements/postings (meetings, bday/anniversary), meetings
- Following up with employees for questions (address changes, general HR questions)
- LMS – employee assistance and password resets
- Send timesheets to agencies and prepare Excel temp log spreadsheet (weekly)
- Preparing write-ups for employees (weekly) & maintain disciplinary tracker log
- Running and prepping Excel Attendance report for me (weekly)
- Posting jobs to Ohio Means Jobs, reviewing resumes, contacting employees or candidates as needed
- Misc. projects as needed
Top Skills Needed: ADP, Workforce, MSWord, Excel, high confidentiality, ability to be flexible, prefer someone in manufacturing background, and able to work independently
Work Hours: Mondays and Wednesdays: 7:00 am – 12:00 pm *
*Can be flexible on the Wednesday schedule but prefer the Monday schedule due to new hires, temp timesheets due, reports due, etc.
