We are seeking a driven, relationship-oriented Physical Therapy Marketing Representative to grow awareness, referrals, and patient access across our outpatient physical therapy clinics. Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain referral relationships with physicians, nurses, office staff, referral coordinators, and other healthcare decision-makers
- Make daily in-person visits to physician offices, specialty practices, urgent care centers, employers, and community partners
- Deliver a consistent message about our services, outcomes, accessibility, and patient experience
- Identify referral opportunities, barriers, and trends within assigned territory
- Develop and execute a weekly territory plan with targeted accounts and follow-up actions
- Track outreach activity, referral conversations, and growth opportunities in the company’s system/process
- Coordinate with clinic leadership to support service line growth and local relationship development
- Represent the company at community events, networking opportunities, and strategic meetings as needed
- Gather market intelligence on competitors, referral patterns, and community needs
- Follow through on commitments quickly and professionally
- Meet or exceed outreach, relationship, and growth goals tied to the position
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in outside sales, physician liaison work, healthcare marketing, business development, or relationship-based account management
- Strong verbal communication and in-person relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with strong follow-up habits
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel locally on a regular basis
- Comfortable with performance expectations, scorecards, and measurable goals
- Proficient with email, spreadsheets, and basic CRM/tracking tools
- Professional appearance and communication style appropriate for medical offices and healthcare partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in physical therapy, healthcare, medical sales, physician relations, or provider outreach
- Existing relationships in the local healthcare community
- Experience calling on physician offices, specialists, employers, or referral sources
- Familiarity with outpatient rehab, musculoskeletal care, or patient access workflows

Schedule / Location / Travel

Compensation
- Base salary: Starting at $45,000
- On-target earnings: Up to $75,000 based on results
- Additional performance incentives tied to measurable outcomes
- Final compensation structure will depend on experience, market knowledge, and track record
