Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and edit technical manuals, reports, briefs, and instructional materials
- Supervise and review work produced by other technical writers
- Observe production and engineering activities to gather technical data
- Interview personnel and review technical materials to understand product technologies
- Organize content according to established standards for clarity and style
- Recommend revisions to published materials and documentation processes
- Edit materials prepared by other writers or technical staff
- Specialize in documentation related to work methods and procedures when required
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in technical writing, documentation development, or related technical communication roles
- Experience with Navy-based operations preferred
- A minimum Secret security clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position.
- A Bachelor's degree in any field
