Job Summary
Excellent full-time day/night-time Orthotic Fitter position with a growing and busy prosthetic & orthotic company that operates in Suffolk, Nassau, and Queens. This is an entry level position that will provide you with training for a lifelong career with unlimited growth potential and incredible income potential. Responsibilities and Duties
- Evaluating and fitting patients with a wide array of orthotic devices.
- Traveling between various locations. (Our Offices, Nursing Homes, Clinics, Hospitals, etc.)
- Communicating with coworkers, patients, therapists, physicians, and other healthcare workers.
- Filling out and/or acquiring necessary documentation for the dispensing of a device.
Qualifications and Skills
- This is an entry level position similar to an apprenticeship where you will receive hands on training in order to become a certified orthotic fitter.
- Must have a driver's license and have reliable transportation.
- Athletic training experience would be a plus.
- Direct patient care experience (e.g. EMT, CNA, MA, etc.) is a plus.
- Experienced and certified fitters are welcome to apply as well.
