Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen to their concerns, and gather detailed information about vehicle damages
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections using estimating software to create precise repair estimates
- Communicate clearly with clients about repair procedures, timelines, and costs to foster trust and confidence
- Collaborate with technicians and parts departments to ensure accurate parts ordering and timely repair
- Manage all aspects of service writing, including documenting damages, repair plans, and cost estimates in detail
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the repair process to provide updates and address questions or concerns
- Proven ability in dealership or auto body repair environments with familiarity in automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Experience with service management tools and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating systems
- Knowledge of auto service management practices including cash handling, sales techniques, and client communication
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
