CNC Machinist – HAAS Mills

We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. Our company designs and manufactures high-quality, high-speed, and high-volume machines and tooling, and we are looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in precision and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Machine and/or test lathe and machined parts according to engineering drawings and customer specifications
• Assist in establishing manufacturing methods including machine setup, testing procedures, material selection, and tooling requirements to ensure parts meet engineering tolerances
• Perform inspections and testing to verify parts meet manufacturing standards and blueprint specifications
• Visually inspect parts to ensure they are free of burrs, defects, or damaged surfaces
• Maintain proper identification of parts in accordance with planning specifications
• Ensure accurate records, documentation, and quality control data are properly maintained

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience operating and setting up HAAS CNC Mills
• Experience with setup and operation of CNC and/or manual machines including mills, lathes, drills, grinders, honing, lapping, and deburring equipment
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience using a variety of standard and dedicated gauging equipment
• U.S. Citizenship required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to push or pull up to 60 pounds
• Minimum 50-pound grip strength required
• Ability to reach above shoulder height (approximately 65 inches)
