Position Summary
Prosperous Healthcare Training LLC is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Instructor. The instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction while preparing students to successfully pass the Michigan Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation and become compassionate, competent healthcare professionals.

Minimum Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience as a Registered Nurse.
- At least one (1) year of experience providing care to the elderly or chronically ill (preferred or as required by state regulations).
- Previous teaching, training, mentoring, or staff development experience preferred.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and meet all clinical compliance requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction in accordance with Michigan Nurse Aide Training Program requirements.
- Prepare lesson plans that align with the approved CNA curriculum.
- Demonstrate nursing skills and supervise students during skills practice and clinical rotations.
- Evaluate student competency through written examinations, skills testing, and clinical performance.
- Maintain accurate attendance, grades, skills checklists, clinical documentation, and student records.
- Provide academic coaching, mentorship, and individualized support to promote student success.
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and professional learning environment.
- Enforce school policies, attendance requirements, and professional standards.
- Communicate student progress with the Program Director.
- Participate in instructor meetings, curriculum reviews, accreditation activities, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with all Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA), state, and federal regulations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong clinical knowledge and nursing judgment.
- Ability to motivate and inspire adult learners.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and electronic recordkeeping.
- Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and clinical instruction.
