What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Relationship Specialist position at Prosperity Immigration Law?
Company Description
Prosperity Immigration Law is a premier immigration law firm based in Texas, recognized for providing high-quality, personalized legal counsel. We specialize in assisting both individuals and businesses across a wide spectrum of immigration matters, including visas, permanent residency, deportation defense, and naturalization. Combining the expertise of a large law firm with the personalized care of a small firm, our team is dedicated to crafting practical, creative, and cost-effective solutions tailored to each client's unique needs. Our mission is to help clients streamline complex immigration processes so they can focus on their lives and businesses with confidence.
Do you have the instinct to sit with someone in the middle of the hardest conversation of their life — a deportation order, a domestic violence case, a stolen green card, a family torn apart at the border — and make them feel truly understood before they ever feel persuaded?
Do you close because you earned the trust, not because you applied the pressure?
Are you the kind of person who asks the second and third "why" — not just the first?
If that's you, keep reading.
IS THIS THE RIGHT FIT FOR YOU?
Only apply if you're serious about joining a firm that measures itself — and everyone on its team — against a high standard.
At Prosperity Immigration Law, our Sales Consultants (we call them Dragons) run inbound consultations with prospective clients who have already booked. There is no cold calling. What there is: real people with real stakes, complex multi-issue cases, emotional conversations, objections rooted in fear — and the expectation that you will guide every one of those conversations toward a clear decision.
You'll thrive here if you:
Open every call with structure. You confirm time, establish confidentiality, set an agenda, and — before anything else — plant a clear intended outcome. Every time.
Discover before you present. You know the difference between what a client says and what they mean. You ask about the future, not just the past. You sit in a difficult moment instead of jumping past it.
Mirror before you pitch. Before you present a solution, you confirm you understood the problem — out loud, in your own words, and you wait for the client to say yes, that's right.
Ask for the sale. You don't hint at it. You don't send a follow-up email when you could close on the call. You ask for the payment date, the down payment, the commitment — calmly, directly, and without apology.
Test objections before you accept them. "Let me talk to my husband" is not a no. You know the difference, and you know what to do with it.
Own your number. Close rates, conversion, pipeline — you know yours, and you're motivated by them.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Dragon at Prosperity Immigration Law, you will:
Run consultations — by phone or video — with pre-qualified prospective clients across our full practice areas: Visa U, removal defense, family petitions, asylum, military parole, VAWA, and adjustment of status
Guide complex, emotional conversations through a structured methodology: Opening → Problem Identification → Solutions → Close — with discipline and genuine care
Connect the firm's services to what clients actually need — not what's easiest to sell
Ask for and collect payment on the first call when the client is ready — including sending payment links, confirming down payments, and setting up payment plans before you hang up
Follow up on no-shows within 24 hours and re-engage cold leads on a defined cadence
Manage your pipeline through our CRM with accurate, detailed notes after every call
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Non-negotiable:
Fluent in Spanish and English — you move between both mid-conversation without losing your thread
Demonstrated B2C sales experience — ideally in professional services, healthcare, legal, or financial services
Composure under pressure: multi-issue cases, emotional clients, price objections, immigration complexity — none of it throws you
Disciplined about structure: you open every call the same way and close every call with a commitment or a locked next step
Strongly preferred:
Experience with high-stakes, emotion-driven sales (immigration, legal, medical, financial)
Familiarity with CRM pipeline management
Track record of being coached and measurably improving
This role is not for you if:
You avoid asking for money and hope the client brings it up
You summarize a call as "they said they'd think about it" without a follow-up date locked in
You let a client's story end without asking what they want their future to look like
You're uncomfortable being scored
WHAT WE OFFER
Base salary commission — structure designed to reward closers, not just callers
Pre-qualified inbound leads — no cold calling; every consultation is a client who asked for help
Intensive onboarding on immigration case types, firm methodology, and our sales framework
Weekly structured coaching — scored call reviews with specific, actionable feedback; we invest in making you better every week
A team with standards — 41-person firm where your work directly impacts people navigating some of the most difficult moments of their lives
Real accountability — you'll always know where you stand, what your numbers are, and what the path to growth looks like
