- Offer catheter care and support for clients with specific medical needs.
- Engage clients in memory care activities to stimulate cognitive function.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities by assisting them in daily routines.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
Requirements
- Previous experience in long-term care or as a Home Health Aide is preferred.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals and understand dietary restrictions.
- Knowledge of catheter care and medication administration protocols.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
