POSITION PURPOSE
The Human Resource Recruiter is responsible for assisting managers in filling their open positions. The Recruiter pre-screens all applicants to insure the most qualified applications are forwarded to the hiring managers for interviewing. The Recruiter will guide managers through the hiring process to ensure proper procedures are followed in the selection of the most qualified candidate.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Assumes responsibility for full recruiting cycle:
- Guide managers through the recruitment process.
- Receive and review Job Requisitions to ensure they are submitted in alignment with bank policy.
- Create and post jobs through ADP.
- Review applications, screen candidates, and manage the submission and tracking of resumes in the company’s database.
- Determine if applicants are qualified for positions.
- Process required pre-employment screenings (credit, criminal, E-Funds)
- Review and distribute applications to the appropriate department managers once necessary reports have been reviewed and approved.
- Corresponds with managers and applicants regarding job postings and applicant status via phone or email.
- Records information regarding applicant status or job posting in the appropriate system or applicant profile.
- Responsible for closing positions once candidates have been selected and approved for hiring.
- Backs up other Recruiters when they are out of bank.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification: Associate degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of Training and work experience.
Required Knowledge: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook. Understanding of Human Resources laws. Requires, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the Company, a basic understanding of the Bank’s organizational structure.
Experience Required: Prior Recruiting and Human Resource experience preferred.

Physical Strength: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally. (Almost all office jobs.)
WORKING CONDITIONS: No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions (such as in a typical office).
MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data establish facts, and draw conclusions.
Able to interpret a variety of technical instructions and can deal with multiple variables.
Mathematics Ability: Ability to compute discount, interest, profit, and loss; commission markup and selling price; and ratio, proportion, and percentage. Able to perform very simple algebra.
Language Ability: Ability to read periodicals, journals, manuals, dictionaries, thesauruses, and encyclopedias.
Ability to prepare business letters, proposals, summaries, and reports using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
