The Waterpark Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the pool and recreation areas. This role provides attentive and courteous service to guests, ensures supplies are consistently available, and supports safe and efficient daily operations throughout the waterpark environment.

• Routinely walk through assigned pool and waterpark areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization.
• Set up and break down pool and recreational areas daily to maintain readiness for guest use.
• Remove used towels, trash, and debris from guest areas and replace them with clean supplies.
• Maintain poolside showers, locker rooms, and restrooms to ensure a sanitary and pleasant environment for guests.
• Clean pool decks, seating areas, and surrounding spaces in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Prioritize guest safety and well-being by maintaining awareness of surroundings and responding promptly to any safety concerns.
• Monitor water slides and aquatic attractions to promote safe usage, regulate guest flow, and help prevent collisions or unsafe conditions.
• Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines when performing cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Collect and transport soiled linens and towels to designated areas and restock with fresh inventory.
• Monitor and replenish pool supplies, including towels and guest amenities, to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, safety hazards, and lost and found items to the appropriate department promptly.
• Assist guests with inquiries, concerns, or requests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Escalate guest issues or complaints to a supervisor when necessary to ensure proper resolution.
• Serve as barback/busser for pool area as needed.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to prioritize tasks and maintain operational efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and necessary.

• Attend hotel and department meetings and other functions as required by management.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding daily activities and concerns.
• Maintain a professional appearance including proper grooming; arrive on time in a clean/pressed uniform, non-slip shoes, and wear a name tag while working.
• Be attentive, courteous, and efficient when dealing with guests and co-workers.
• Comply with all compliance standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations (including applicable meal and rest break periods).
• Be familiar with hotel policies, rules, and terminology.
• Work independently as needed and manage time effectively to complete required work.
• Must be available to work varying schedules including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Previous hospitality, recreation, or guest service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions.

• Strong guest service and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
