The company has evolved from its origins as an energy and construction platform into a large-scale infrastructure operator, with crypto-mining acting as the monetisation layer. Operations span multiple sites, with a highly engineering-led organisation and a significant, asset-backed balance sheet.
The CFO will report directly to the CEO and act as a true business partner, bringing financial discipline, risk management, and capital markets credibility to a complex, highly leveraged, capex-intensive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as strategic partner and counterweight to the CEO, driving disciplined decision-making and downside risk management.
- Lead all financial planning, forecasting, liquidity management, and covenant oversight in a highly leveraged environment.
- Manage and structure large-scale debt facilities, including refinancing and lender engagement.
- Own scenario planning across energy pricing, operating performance, and cryptocurrency volatility.
- Oversee capital allocation, capex planning, and asset-level return analysis.
- Support fundraising, investor communication, and board-level reporting with credibility and precision.
- Build and professionalise the finance function in an engineering-heavy organisation.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven CFO or senior finance leader from data centre or energy infrastructure.
- Deep experience with project finance, infrastructure debt, or asset-backed lending.
- Strong understanding of energy economics, power procurement, and contract risk.
- Comfortable operating in volatile environments with meaningful balance sheet exposure.
- Able to partner closely with a technically brilliant founder while enforcing financial discipline.
- Exposure to crypto-mining or adjacent digital infrastructure is a plus
