The Activities Coordinator provides fun and purpose to our residents in memory care on a daily basis! The Coordinator assists in the planning, organizing, developing, implementing and evaluating recreational and social activities within the community. The key responsibility of the Acitvities Coordinator is maintaining a robust schedule of activities that stimulate the resident's mind, body, and spirit. The goal of our acitvities programming is to provide fun and purpose to our residents. Attitude is everything! Prosper is looking for someone who will bring a positive and productive attitude on a daily basis to serve each other and the residents.

Other responsibilities include:
- Role Model: Strive to provide the highest quality of care to residents with the kindness and compassion that affords the resident their dignity.
- Good Will Ambassador - Function as liaison between staff, residents, families, and the community at large through volunteers, entertainment sources, and service providers to ensure positive public relations with Prosper.
- Assist in planning, scheduling and implementing a program of individual and group activities based on residents' purpose.
- Plan and implement recreational and social activities on a one-to-one basis for those who do not wish to attend group activities and/or residents unable to leave their apartments.
- Facilitate, plan and implement evening and weekend functions.
- Take part in in-service education and attend all in-service sessions as required.
- Encourage and assist Caregivers and Volunteers to facilitate activities.
- Maintain an adequate supply of materials to implement activity programs.
- Assume responsibility for the safety of residents under their supervision.
- Follow Resident's Rights policies at all times.
