Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Studies Teacher located in Prosper, TX. The Social Studies Teacher will be responsible for designing and teaching engaging lessons in Social Studies, including topics such as World History. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, implementing curriculum standards, assessing student progress, and fostering a collaborative learning environment. The teacher will also be expected to support students’ personal growth and actively participate in school activities and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Expertise in teaching Social Studies and World History concepts
- Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
- Experience teaching at the Middle School level
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Education, History, Social Studies, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification for the state of Texas
