Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly-motivated, dependable, and organized Clinical Pharmacist to join our small but mighty team. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong work ethic to thrive in a dynamic startup environment. This pharmacist will work 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, dispense, and manage medication therapies for home infusion and specialty pharmacy patients
- Conduct thorough medication therapy management and clinical reviews for all patients
- Provide drug information and education to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including the ordering and receiving of medications and supplies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the growth of the pharmacy
- Mentor and supervise support staff, as needed
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing
- At least 1 year of experience in home infusion, specialty pharmacy, or a related field preferred
- Strong computer and technology skills, including proficiency in electronic health records and pharmacy software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
