Prosper Health and Aesthetics is seeking a skilled, motivated, and patient-focused Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner to join our growing medical aesthetics and wellness practice in Sioux City, Iowa. This role is ideal for an NP who is passionate about aesthetics, wellness, and delivering exceptional patient outcomes through personalized treatment plans.
The Aesthetic NP will play a key role in providing injectable treatments, medical aesthetics services, and wellness consultations while upholding the highest standards of safety, ethics, and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Aesthetic Services
- Perform aesthetic injectable treatments including:
- Neurotoxins (Botox®, Daxxify®, Dysport®)
- Dermal fillers
- Biostimulatory injectables (e.g., Sculptra®)
- Conduct comprehensive aesthetic consultations and develop customized treatment plans
- Perform or assist with medical aesthetic treatments such as:
- Laser and energy-based devices
- Skin rejuvenation and tightening procedures
- Evaluate patient candidacy, obtain informed consent, and document care thoroughly
- Manage post-treatment follow-ups and address patient concerns or complications
Wellness & Medical Services
- Conduct medical evaluations for wellness and hormone optimization services
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory results
- Prescribe medications and treatments within scope and state regulations
- Collaborate with the medical team on integrated care plans
Patient Experience & Education
- Educate patients on treatment options, expectations, risks, and aftercare
- Build long-term patient relationships through trust, transparency, and results
- Maintain a luxury-level patient experience aligned with Prosper’s brand standards
Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation
- Adhere to state regulations, medical protocols, and safety standards
- Assist with inventory awareness and treatment room readiness
- Participate in ongoing training, skill development, and team meetings
Qualifications
Required
- Active Iowa Nurse Practitioner license (in good standing)
- National NP certification (AANP or ANCC)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in aesthetics preferred.
- Strong knowledge of facial anatomy and aesthetic best practices
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Preferred
- 2 years of hands-on injectable experience
- Experience with laser and energy-based devices
- Background in wellness, hormones, or functional medicine
- Strong sales confidence rooted in ethical patient education (not pressure-based)
