Good Boys Group is hiring an Executive Operations & Culture Lead to support and help scale a fast-growing life and annuity organization.

This is not a traditional assistant role. This is a high-impact position at the center of our operations, our culture, and our presence in the marketplace.

You will keep the business moving—across agent contracting, case flow, internal systems, and team coordination—while also acting as a culture builder, connector, and networker who helps attract the right people into the organization.

What You’ll Do: Operations Backbone

  • Manage agent contracting and onboarding across multiple carriers.
  • Track requirements (E&O, licensing, training) and ensure completion.
  • Assist with case management (applications, requirements, status updates).
  • Communicate with agents, carriers, and internal team to move business forward.
  • Maintain and improve systems (CRM, tracking sheets, workflows).
  • Support leadership with day-to-day operations and execution.

What You’ll Do: Culture, Brand, and Network

This role is also about making Good Boys Group the place people want to be. You will help create an environment that top producers and ambitious recruits feel and talk about.

  • Plan and run team events, trainings, lock-ins, and offsites that build energy, camaraderie, and buy-in.
  • Build and protect a strong, consistent, winning culture that reflects our standards and values.
  • Coordinate networking activities (local events, industry meetups, community involvement) to get our name out and keep us visible.
  • Leverage your personal network and build new networks to support recruiting, referrals, and strategic relationships.
  • Support recruiting by helping organize career nights, follow-up campaigns, and relationship touchpoints with prospective agents.
  • Act as a culture ambassador in the office—welcoming new people, connecting team members, and keeping morale and standards high.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who is half operator, half culture engine—equally comfortable in a spreadsheet and at a networking event.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; you can keep many moving parts straight.
  • Strong communicator who can confidently work with professionals, in person and online.
  • Natural networker who enjoys meeting people, following up, and connecting dots.
  • Takes ownership and follows through without needing to be chased.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
  • Proficient with computers and quick to learn new systems (Google Sheets, CRM tools, AI tools like ChatGPT, etc.).
  • Comfortable holding others accountable, setting expectations, and having direct conversations when needed.
  • Brings a positive, competitive, team-first attitude and genuinely cares about culture and people.

Not a Fit If You

  • Need step-by-step direction or constant hand-holding.
  • Avoid difficult conversations or shy away from holding others accountable.
  • Prefer low-responsibility or purely repetitive work.
  • Struggle with organization, follow-through, or following systems.
  • Don’t enjoy networking, meeting new people, or being part of the culture of the office.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and operational thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new tools quickly.
  • Experience with CRM systems and Google Workspace preferred.
  • Experience in life insurance/annuities or financial services is a plus, but strong networking and culture-building experience can offset industry inexperience.
