The Assistant Director of Scouting and Analytics plays a vital role in the successful execution of Prospect Select Baseball events. This position ensures that technology platforms function properly and that accurate scouting and data coverage is delivered. The role directly supports the Assistant National Director of Scouting and Technology and the Lead Scout.

- Direct report to the Assistant National Director of Scouting and Technology and Lead Scout.
- Supervise all data collection at assigned fields.
- Supervise all pre-game software updates on Scorebook, FlightScope, and related systems.
- Supervise post-game syncing of FlightScope units at assigned fields.
- Manage troubleshooting and operational readiness of all FlightScope units.
- Manage assigned scouting areas to ensure coverage is complete and consistent.
- Provide showcase and high school event coverage as assigned.
- Assist in capturing player data using assigned technology platforms.
- Ensure seamless operation of data-collection systems across assigned fields.
- Scout players as assigned and provide clear, organized scouting notes.
- Manage video capture responsibilities for assigned fields or events.
- Capture in-game video for tournaments and showcases as assigned.
- Manage and update the Top Performers and Data Blog as assigned.
- Manage social media postings and updates per Prospect Select Scouting protocols and standards as assigned.
- Assist in writing pre-event and post-event articles to highlight teams, players, and event outcomes.
- Collaborate with scouting leadership to communicate data accuracy and scouting observations.
- Strong understanding of baseball gameplay and scouting principles.
- Experience with data-collection technology (FlightScope, Trackman, Rapsodo, etc.) preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technology issues in real time.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work weekends, long hours, and outdoor events in varying conditions.
- Ability to effectively complete tasks within required time constraints.
