Duties
- Process payroll accurately using iSolved, a cloud based HCM payroll platform that combines payroll, timekeeping, benefits administration and employee self-service into a single system.
- Enter and verify employee data including hours worked, benefits deductions, tax information, and wage adjustments through data entry and payroll management systems.
- Maintain compliance with employment and labor laws by staying updated on tax law changes and labor regulations affecting payroll processing.
- Manage benefits administration related to payroll including deductions for health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
- Prepare detailed reports on payroll transactions, tax filings, and labor law compliance for internal audits or external agencies.
- Handle sensitive confidential information with integrity while ensuring data security across all payroll activities.
Skills
- Experience working with iSolved.
- Knowledge of federal, state and local tax withholdings affecting payroll processing.
- Familiarity with garnishments, deductions and employer contributions.
- Understanding of benefits administration processes within iSolved; experience handling confidential information securely.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in payroll management tasks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic accounting and math skills.
- Knowledge of certified payroll is a plus.
