Job Summary
Prospect Nursing Services is looking for reliable and compassionate CNAs to provide in-home support for pediatric and geriatric patients across Maryland. Our clients include children who need gentle, attentive care and older adults who require daily assistance to stay safe and comfortable at home.
This position offers part-time and full-time availability. CNAs are placed on our active waiting list until cases open up in their area. Many of our cases tend to run long term, but placement depends on case availability and the needs of each family.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding).
- Support patient mobility, including transfers, repositioning, and safe ambulation.
- Follow individualized care plans and report changes to supervising nurses.
- Provide companionship, interaction, and support appropriate to each patient’s age and condition.
- Help with simple meal prep, light housekeeping, and maintaining a safe home environment.
Qualifications
- Active Maryland CNA certification.
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain it).
- Experience with pediatric or geriatric clients preferred
- Dependable, patient, and able to work independently in the home.
- Good communication skills and professionalism when working with families and nursing staff.

All patient cases are located within Montgomery County, Maryland. We aim to match CNAs with cases close to their home whenever possible.
