Prospect Hill Academy High School is seeking a passionate and collaborative multi-disciplinary Integrated Arts Teacher(visual arts, media arts) to serve in the following capacities: Teacher: developing and teaching 9th grade creative arts elective, supporting upperclassmen in portfolio development/application process to post secondary art/architecture programs Advisor: grade level TBD Co-planner: collaborating with academic content teachers on project design during weekly common planning meetings and professional learning time Visiting Artist/Co-Teacher: rotating through classes to support teacher implementation of project based learning that requires students to construct and demonstrate learning through an art form PBL Lab/MakerSpace Manager: managing classroom space dedicated to serving as a project based learning lab What does an Integrated Arts Teacher at Prospect Hill do?

I. Curriculum & Planning

• Utilizes a variety of assessment strategies.
• Uses assessment data to inform and improve curriculum and instruction.
• Adapts assessments in accordance with student IEPs and 504 plans.

What Knowledge, Skills, and Experiences are needed for this role?

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
• MA Licensure in relevant field or working towards completion of licensure
• Understanding and familiarity with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
