What are the responsibilities and job description for the Secretary, Medical - RWMC position at Prospect CharterCARE, LLC?
Summary: Provides administrative support to the Wound Therapy Clinic.
Education: In addition to the skills normally obtained through completion of a High School education, additional courses within the medical secretarial sciences are preferred. Prefer specialized course work in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and disease processing utilizing ICD-9-CM and CPT 4 where applicable within the Medical Center. Continues educational pursuits as required to perform all duties associated with position.
Experience: Six months to one-year experience in a clinical setting. May require a working knowledge of medical terminology. Must be able to accurately utilize word-processing software. Experience performing transcription may be required. Requires excellent interpersonal skills. Must enjoy working in a customer service environment.
