What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronics Technician position at Prospance Inc?
Join a team responsible for reliability and manufacturing testing technologies electrical hardware, including Level 3 ADAS, telematics, infotainment, battery management, and zonal ECUs. You’ll help develop and operate automated test solutions spanning software, firmware, data systems, and custom electromechanical hardware. Work includes executing tests, analyzing data, building first articles, redlining schematics, and troubleshooting issues across internal teams, external labs, and manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate software interfaces and test equipment during hardware bring-up.
- Set up and calibrate thermal and vibration chambers.
- Validate system functionality using oscilloscopes, power analyzers, power supplies, and DMMs.
- Troubleshoot, root-cause, and document DUT, equipment, and harness failures.
- Perform PCB modifications, including soldering and component rework.
- Support commissioning of new automated test systems.
Qualifications
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in electronics testing.
- Ability to read schematics, drawings, and datasheets.
- 5 years building automated test equipment or industrial automation systems.
- Experience with power tools, soldering, rework, and lab electrical testing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft and Google productivity tools.
- Ability to lift and move test equipment.
- Hands-on, proactive problem solver.
