Responsibilities:
- Install, program, and service security and fire alarm systems
- Perform system takeovers, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Test and verify all alarm signals (burglar, fire, supervisory, etc.)
- Ensure all systems are fully functional before leaving the jobsite
- Provide client walkthroughs and basic system training
- Document work performed with photos and detailed job notes
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Experience with security and/or fire alarm systems (residential and/or commercial)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Professional communication and customer interaction skills
- Clean and organized workmanship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Alarm.com, Honeywell, DSC, or similar platforms
- Fire alarm systems, inspections, and testing procedures
- Basic networking knowledge (IP-based systems)
- Experience with cameras, access control, or AV systems
- Steady, year-round work in both residential and commercial environments
