About the Role
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective clients. Your mission is to start meaningful conversations, understand business challenges, and set qualified meetings for our Owner or Account Executives. This role is perfect for someone looking to build a career in B2B technology sales, gain exposure to cybersecurity and IT services, and grow into higher‐level sales roles.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Reaching out to local and regional businesses via visits, phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Responding to inbound leads from marketing campaigns and referrals
- Asking smart questions to understand IT challenges and business goals
- Qualifying prospects and scheduling discovery meetings for Owner or Account Executives
- Keeping CRM notes accurate and up to date
- Collaborating with sales and marketing to improve outreach and messaging
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or inside/outside sales
- Comfortable on the phone and confidence speaking with business owners
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Coachable, curious, and motivated to learn technology sales
- Experience in IT, MSP, SaaS, or cybersecurity sales is a plus (not required)

Starting Salary: $50,000 - $55,000/yr plus Commission
On-Target Earnings: $75,000 - $80,000 Annually
