Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; participation in after-hours on-call rotation required
We’re hiring a Solutions Engineer to provide dependable technical support and help maintain client IT environments across desktops, networks, and hosted services. This is an early-career role for someone who is organized, service-oriented, and confident troubleshooting end-user issues while contributing to projects and ongoing support operations.
Responsibilities
- Configure, install, support, and troubleshoot software, hardware, and related computer and network peripherals across client and internal environments.
- Manage and resolve service tickets promptly based on urgency and client impact while documenting issues identified, work performed, and corrective actions taken.
- Contribute to assigned projects, balance multiple priorities effectively, and participate in on-call support coverage as assigned.
- Stay current on relevant technologies, tools, and support practices, and use AI tools and effective prompting to assist with troubleshooting, research, and service delivery when appropriate.
- Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams, listen well, and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced support environment.
- Maintain professionalism, composure, and a professional appearance in client-facing and high-pressure situations while demonstrating the competencies required for the role.
- Follow company policies, confidentiality standards, and workplace expectations, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
At least one year of desktop support or IT industry experience is required, along with prior customer service experience. Candidates should have a working knowledge of computer systems, networking fundamentals, and common IT support tools, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze issues, solve problems, exercise sound judgment, stay organized, and deliver quality customer service in a fast-paced environment. Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately are also essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco are preferred. Spanish language skills are a plus.
Work Location and Schedule
This is a full-time position based in Oviedo, Florida, with a hybrid work arrangement and remote flexibility within Central Florida based on business needs. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, and the role may include occasional client-facing work and participation in an on-call rotation.
